Thanks to all for the assistance thus far on early graves, and the fact bodies were moved to this site at a later time.
Col. Samuel Miles was a member of the 1st Baptist Church, Phila. We were told by the Baptist Association that his remains are at this cemetery.
Is there a Baptist section of the cemetery? This is all we have to go on. |

My name is Maureen Montgomery and my grandfather was buried in this cemetery I believe in May of 1969. I never met my grandfather but I was told he was a good man. In October of this year I will be getting married! All of my grandparents have passed away so unfortunately I wont have them physically there but I know spiritially they will be! |

I am looking for information on the Hamilton family burial plot. I would like to know if there is an index for the Mount Mariah Cemetery. I know that Robert Hamilton was born about 1834/1835 died ?? and Charles Hamilton 1837 died 1900. |

ROSE, Peter (1720-1766) & w. Mary (GARDNER) ROSE (1729-1796) both reinterred from ROSE Burying Ground on Ludlow to Mt. Moriah abt 1922. Appreciate any help in locating actual burial site @ Mt. Moriah.
Hope to find them in Mt. Moriah on Jul 30. |
