Mrs. Lydia M. Sheridan Probets - Mrs. Lydia M. Sheridan Probets, 68, a resident of Mount Holly for many years, died on Friday. She had been an (for) invalid 20 years, and for 10 years had been in a hospital. Mrs. Probets was born in Mount Holly.
She was a former resident of Camden, where her only son, Frank Sheridan, is a member of the editorial staff of the Courier-Post. Mrs. Probets traced her ancestry back to "Light Horse" Harry Lee, of Revolutionary fame. Her first husband, James Frank Sheridan, who died 20 years ago, was a nephew of General Philip Sheridan, of Civil War fame. Mrs. Probets was the youngest of 16 children. Besides her son, she is survived by two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Ida Pratt and Benjamin Willets, of Mount Holly; Mrs. Adelaide Gaum, of Vincentown, and George Willets, of Glassboro; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services were held at Bitting's funeral rooms yesterday. Burial was in Mt. Moriah cemetery, Philadelphia.
