The B'Nai Israel Cemetery, also known as the Hebrew Mutual Cemetery, is a small Jewish cemetery located on the far west side of Mount Moriah cemetery that operated from 1867-1964. The two are unaffiliated, but the two of them seemed to have suffered the same fate of neglect and vandalism for years. I am happy to point out, that due to the hard work of some as of yet unknown friends, the cemetery has been saved! It now resembles a memorial garden and the improvement is remarkable.

You can view some photographs I took of the cemetery in 2004 and in 2006. Great job to those involved!
