It wasn't until I contacted the Better Business Bureau that the cemetery righted a family monument that had clearly been pushed over. (Cemetery gave various other excuses.)

It is almost impossible to get information from the cemetery, even in person. (Many of their records are on computer listing in the office).
The Historical Society of Pennsylvania has
an extensive collection of Philadelphia (as well as statewide and within the Delaware Valley region) cemetery records. Consult the Genealogical Card Catalogue, alphabetically by the name of the cemetary, or by the name of the county, for a listing of holdings.
